Using the Frame VDI option, you have the choice to download the client or log into the service using an approved HTML5 browser.

The main Frame VDI access point, https://console.nutanix.com/x/labs, will offer a desktop within each lab location. Depending upon your login credentials, you may have access to multiple desktops. Consult your Nutanix Representative to access the correct environment (Phoenix, Durham, or Bangalore) within the main access point and use the provided credentials.

From the home screen, choose one of the following:

Using Frame through a supported HTML5 client works well, but you'll get better performance and support for multiple monitors downloading the desktop client.

Expand the User Profile information to download the client.

Using the HTML5 Frame Instance

After navigating to the main access point, your home screen will already have a defined desktop instance based on the URL provided by your Nutanix Representative.

Note that you may have access to more than one lab environment based on your permissions. If necessary, you may toggle between environments by using this icon:

1- Once you're within the correct lab environment, click the Desktop icon to launch the VDI instance within the Nutanix Lab.

2- Using the lab credentials provided, log into the desktop instance. Open the browser and navigate to the specific URL of the cluster reserved for your session. Your Nutanix Representative will provide the appropriate URLs, and you'll use the same credentials to log into Prism. Enjoy your session.

3- Once you've completed your lab session, use the sprocket icon to Disconnect.
