The Nutanix Hosted Proof of Concept (HPOC) environment utilizes GlobalProtect to provide VPN connectivity to external clients. Follow the steps below to install the GlobalProtect agent and connect to your cluster.

  1. Open a browser and navigate to gp.hpoc.nutanix.com.

  2. Use the reservation credentials provided to you by your Nutanix representative to log into the HPOC.

3. Upon initial login, you must download and install the GlobalProtect agent that matches your OS.

Windows users, check with your Administrator if you are unsure which 32-bit or 64-bit agent to install.

4. The agent will appear under the download icon, and clicking it will launch the installer.

5. Walk through the installation wizard, clicking Next to begin.

6. Please select the location you'd like to have the agent installed.

7. Click Next to confirm and proceed.

8. Click Yes if you're asked if you wish for this file to change your computer. This process may take a moment, depending on your computer's resources.

9. Click Close once the installation is complete to exit the wizard. Once you've installed the agent, please restart your computer if necessary.

10. Open the newly installed Global Protect agent. Click Get Started when the window opens.

11. Type gp.hpoc.nutanix.com into the Portal field and click Connect.

12. Log in to the HPOC environment using the same reservation credentials.

Once connected, you may open another browser window and use the provided IP address to access the Nutanix cluster.
