This April release of Helper is bringing big updates that include a redesign of the Opportunity Details, updates to help the overall reporting of Implementation Plans, and a solution to transition legacy Product Adoptions for those missing PNP 2.0 objects.
Buckle-up, here we go!
Opportunity Details Remixed
The redesign of the Opportunity Detail page offers valuable information clearly in the left column, draws your eyes to the highlighted action items, and allows you to glide through the tabs for a smooth workflow.
This redesign is a large one and involved quite a few moving pieces. If you encounter any strange behavior or have feedback for potential improvements, please contact us using the in-app support tool.
Product Adoption Legacy Licenses Transitioned to PnP 2.0
When an Opportunity is won and closed in Helper it triggers the creation of a Product Adoption. There have been some instances where legacy licenses have been transitioned to PnP 2.0 licenses without a closed Opportunity to trigger the creation of a Product Adoption. We've implemented a solution allowing you to easily create these Product Adoptions when you run into a legacy licensed Product Adoption. Read the instructions for all the process details!
Improved Implementation Plan Strategy Data
We've heard your feedback that the data included in our Implementation Plan reports is a bit noisy. We've worked with leadership to help determine which Opportunities we can exclude from these reports to make sure that the data we're presenting to you more closely aligns with our OKRs around Implementation Plans. Examples of this cleanup effort include:
Excluding Not for Resale Opportunities as well as Frame-only deals
Adding a new 'N/A' column clarifying Implementation Plans in Opportunities where no Tech Close status has been selected
Read our comprehensive article on how we discern which data to include inside the Implementation Strategy Heatmap.
In addition, we've done some work to make sure that the data surrounding Implementation Plan alerting is consistent across Helper. This means the badges we show in the Opportunity list and detail views as well as the logic we use to generate the weekly Implementation Plan digest emails has been updated accordingly.
As with any set of changes like this, there could still be ghosts in the machine. Please reach out if you feel like some of the data you see doesn't match up with your expectations.
Additional Features and Updates
πͺ² We've fixed an issue that could sometimes cause Opportunity queries to fail silently.
