My Settings Enhancements

Scoping Product Adoptions

For specific Portfolio Products, the global Product Specialists teams are getting involved in the Product Adoption cycle to ensure our customers are successful in their implementation and adoption of their purchased solutions. To support this effort, we've added a new setting to scope My Product Adoption data to align with the specialists focus areas. Find all the details about using this scoping method in the My Settings: Product Adoptions article.

As this new scoping option pulls all products globally, we've also added a new Theater filter for My Product Adoption saved views that can be used to further narrow in on just the Product Adoption entries you're interested in viewing.

Scoping by Multiple Sub-Regions

We've also added support for scoping up to three Sub-Regions for users working within multiple Sub-regions. You must define the Theater and Region. Scoping by Sub-Region is still optional, but now you can narrow down those larger Regions by selecting up to 3 individual Sub-Regions. This functionality will be available for all sections under My Settings

Implementation Plans on the Product Adoption

Navigating inside the Product Adoption objects, you'll now have direct visibility of the Implementation Plan within the most recently closed Opportunity. We've added a new link to display an Implementation Plan Overview within the Stage 10 summary section. You no longer have to jump over to the Opportunity record to review the Implementation Plans provided by the field. But you can use the linking fields to navigate to the Account object, open the Account in Salesforce, access the Implementation Partner object, and even email the listed Contact.

New Task Management Features

The My Task view now offers a board layout. Instead of just listing Task objects by Due Date or Priority, the board view provides a different perspective. Using the board layout is a great way to see the Task Status in the following columns visually:

  • Not Started

  • In Progress

  • Waiting on someone else

  • Completed

  • Deferred.

Click on any Task card within the board layout to quickly open the modal for editing or viewing details. Drag and drop Task objects into the appropriate columns, updating the Status and progress the Task through the lifecycle. When you're ready to complete a Task, drag and drop it into the Completed column or click the Complete option.

Look how easy it is to convert any existing list layouts into a board using the Filter Controls.

As requested, we've also updated the Related To text on each Task to open the specific object in a new window. Quickly jump into the Account, Opportunity, or Product Adoption on each Task by clicking the Related To description.
