Task Enhancements Continued

Earlier this month we added support for new fields on Tasks and now we've reworked the interface to embody more of a To-Do list approach. Providing instant visibility to Tasks needing attention first, we've replaced the color-coded Priority flags with new icons and present past Due Dates in red. Combined with the recently added custom views and saved filters, you should be able to filter and sort to pull all the high priority and past due Tasks to the top of your My Task list.

If you're questioning anything about a Task that has been assigned to you, clicking on the Assign By name will start a new blank email so you can reach out for more details.

When you're all finished with a Task, check it off your list with a single click to mark it Complete. Accidentally completed a task? Click the check box again and the task will move back to In Progress or click the task name and change the status to any that are appropriate. When looking at all the hard work you've accomplish with those completed tasks, you'll now notice the date of completion along with the original due date.

My Team Custom Views and Saved Filters

We've completed integrating custom views and saved filters under most of the My Team tabs. Separate from the other My Views, (My Accounts, My Opportunities, My Product Adoptions, and My Tasks) managers and directors can now benefit from building custom views and saving filters for team or direct report data.

Remember, custom views and saved filters are applied to data after you've selected to view by a direct report or the entire team.

Channel-Led Accounts and Opportunities

Continuing with our Channel integration work, we've included new filter options to assist in finding channel-led Accounts and Opportunities. Also, each record is marked within the Account Type and Opportunity Type badges to include a distinct icon for better visibility. Look for the Type badges containing two people with a star.

New Product Adoption Scoping Method

It might be time to review your My Settings in Helper. We've added a new option to My Settings for Product Adoptions that will show Product Adoption records where you are an Account owner or a member of the Account Team. This is great for individuals new to an account or in an overlay capacity like Product Specialists, who may not be assigned as an owner of a particular Product Adoption object.

Try all these features out now if you dare because no mere mortal can resist these thrillers!
