Custom Views and Save Filters for Accounts
We've implemented the ability to create custom views and save filters for Accounts. Hopefully, you've explored the functionality to create views and save filters for Opportunities and Product Adoptions in the past release. The process is the same for My Accounts. You'll use the drop-down menu within the filter bar to Add New View. Once the slide-over opens, you may create a new view, including a layout, filter controls, and sorting options.
Note: The pre-built views provided include access to the Product and Workload heatmaps that were previously available displaying data for ALL your accounts. And even better, you can now also use a combination of a heatmap layout and filter controls to create a unique custom view for future use.
Using the filter bar drop-down, select Add New View.
After you name the new view and select the desired Filter Controls, click on Save.
Remember to define and apply the Filter Controls to complete the creation of your new view.
Recent Notes Last Updated Filter Now Available.
Recently, we added the Last Updated Date for the Nutanix Recent Notes. In this release, we've created a new filter control option allowing you to create a new view or add the Recent Notes Last Updated filter option to an existing view. Use this filter control on new or existing views to quickly show Opportunities where the Nutanix Recent Notes was updated in the past week, over a month ago, or even Opportunities without notes.
Opportunity History On Product Adoption
Product Adoptions are a continuation of the sales life cycle, and having some of the historical Opportunity information instantly visible is often helpful. Helper now provides visibility of the Opportunity Title, Opportunity Close Date, and a new calculated Days Since the Opportunity Closed value from the Product Adoption objects. With the addition of the Opportunity Close Date, Helper can calculate and displays the number of Days Since the Opportunity Closed. We've also used this calculation to create a new filter control. Use the Days Since the Opportunity Closed filter control to create or add to an existing view you've already created.
View the new Opportunity Name, Opportunity Close Date, and Days Since Opportunity Closed by hovering over the Product Adoption name within the board or list views. And notice how easily you can jump directly to the Opportunity by clicking the title.
Adding the **Days Since Opportunity Close** filter control to existing views or using it to create a new view allows you to quickly find Product Adoptions created within the last week, month, or over 120 days ago.
We've also added columns representing Stage 13 No Longer in Use and Stage 15 Unvalidated on the board view allowing you to create views and save filters utilizing all the stages.
Finally, have you ever needed to know when the last time ownership of a Product Adoption changed? Now you can quickly click on an Owner bubble within the Product Adoption to open and see when the Owner was assigned.
Attachments Now In Multiple Locations
Attachments were first made available on Account objects. To satisfy multiple requests, we've added support to allow attachments directly to Opportunities and Product Adoptions. Drag and drop files into the upload box to attach essential files. And we've added icons to show file types, such as PDF, Excel, or Word.
Locate and add Attachments on their dedicated tab under Opportunities.
And you can find and add Attachments on a new tab beside the Activity Timeline and Metrics of a Product Adoption.
Additional Updates and Fixes
We've corrected the method used to update and display OneGTM data for Accounts where applicable. Reminder, some Accounts may not include OneGTM data.
We've added validation to make sure the Implementation Plan Date is AFTER the Opportunity Close Date. You'll receive an alert if your Close Date changes and you must correct the Implementation Date.
Added support for additional fields on Opportunities to manage Salesforce Validation Errors.
We've corrected an issue causing a duplicate row to display within the Implementation Heatmap report.
We've corrected an issue where some users were not receiving the expected email notifications regarding New Product Adoptions.
