Release Notes 2025.02

Learn what's new in Helper this February 2025.

This February, Helper releases the first phase of a project we are working on to provide consistent and easy methods to update and analyze your Account data for use in your planning and strategy efforts. We've added support for using Account Tier for filtering and updated the Workload Heatmap to align with recent changes around Nutanix's corporate strategy regarding understanding our customers' use of our software. Read on for more details!

View and Filter by Account Tier

We've added the Account Tier field to display on both the initial Account List and at the top of the Account Detail view. Utilize this field to filter and display Accounts by tier.

Filtering by Tier could help you find multiple Tier 2 accounts across a region or help quickly display and analyze your Top 10 Tier 1 accounts.

Workload Heatmap Updates - Phase 1

This iteration of Helper also includes updates to the Workload Heatmaps, which align with other workload data tracked across several Salesforce objects, including Opportunities and Product Adoptions. This represents the first phase of efforts as we work towards providing an easy method for capturing and storing Workload data and driving consistency in reporting.

Aligning Workload Names to Corporate Strategy

While the Workload Heatmap feature is not new, we've now aligned the Workload names for the Account Workload object with new values defined by Nutanix Corporate Strategy.

We've also added support for more fields within the details slide-over and modal to capture more information about the workload in question, including Location (Private Cloud, Public Cloud, etc) and Use Case (Production, Test & Dev, etc). Quickly click within a heatmap cell to display the slide-over, view the details, and click the pencil icon to add updates.

Not familiar with the Workload Heatmap? You can find it as a Saved View that you can update and modify to your liking on the My Accounts page:

Opportunity Changes to support new Workload names

Changes were also made recently to the Opportunity object in Salesforce, which introduced new values for tracking Workload data. The Primary Workload and Primary Workload Details fields have been updated in Helper to reflect these changes.

When updating an Opportunity, you'll select the Primary Workloads, then choose the Primary Workload Details to match. You may only select up to two Primary Workloads, then select up to two Primary Workload Details for each Primary Workload.

Product Adoption Workloads Aligned

Lastly, in this phase of work, we also aligned the Workloads available for selection on Product Adoption objects to those on Opportunities and the Account Workloads object. Look under the Metrics tab to edit and select Workloads on the Product Adoption.

With these changes, we've aligned a common Workload taxonomy across multiple objects in Salesforce. This begins to pave the way for enhanced capabilities like auto-completing heatmaps based on data from Opportunities or Product Adoptions, making it simpler and easier to keep clean data always available.

We plan to further enhance the Workload and Product Heatmaps and merge the Workload and Product data to give you a more holistic view of your Accounts' possibilities. Stay tuned to see what we release next!
